What is Yin Yoga?

Yin Yoga focuses on slow, passive stretches and poses that are held for extended periods of time, typically ranging from 3 to 5 minutes or even longer. These extended holds target the deep connective tissues, such as ligaments, tendons, and fascia, which are often overlooked in other yoga practices.

A gentle, accessible style of yoga for all ages that supports:

  • Deep stretching and improved flexibility

  • Stress relief and lasting relaxation

  • Enhanced flow of energy throughout the body

  • A sense of balance and harmony in both mind and body
